1. Use appropriate socks Cotton will be your best ally for your feet, especially in summer. Used by top athletes, cotton absorbs perspiration. If you suffer from hyperhidrosis, it is better to change your socks several times a day.

2. Have two pairs of safety shoes If possible, get a second pair of safety shoes to alternate from one day to the next. This will give them plenty of time to dry properly.

3. Maintain your feet Take care of your feet by eliminating the horn (nest of bacteria) and by treating them regularly with a foot bath with lavender or black tea essential oils. You can also rub them with alum stone to remove odors.

4. Maintain your insoles If you have removable insoles, you'll need to take them out every night. Leave them out overnight. Have a spare pair of insoles so you can wash them once a week.
